The Voice Referendum

This mini unit will support students to become active, informed citizens as they develop their understanding of the significance of the upcoming Voice to Parliament. Students will explore the meaning of a referendum, the Uluru Statement from the Heart and the Voice to Parliament, while thoughtfully and honestly reflecting on their learning journey. These lessons will support you to navigate rich and serious conversations that are open and respectful. Best of all, Thomas Mayor’s wonderful picture book, Finding Our Heart is used as a mentor text to guide student thinking and learning.
